Your beliefs produce your actions.


Pause and think about that a moment. Every action begins with a thought. Your actions don’t just happen; they are the outward testament of what your really believe. That is why simply changing a behavior may bring temporary change but more than likely you will find yourself eventually falling into the same habits and patterns because your thoughts remain the same. However, if you take the time to pause and reflect on the beliefs that are driving your behavior, you discover the power of making lasting, impactful changes in your life.


Change your thoughts, change your life.


Where are you feeling stuck in your life? What habits or choices leave you feeling frustrated, discontent, or trapped in the same cycle? Write those things down and then ask yourself what you are believing about those situations. What are you listening to in your mind about that circumstance, that relationship, about yourself? Are the thoughts true? Are they rooted in hope or fear? Confidence or insecurity? Grace or guilt?


This isn’t about condemning yourself for any negative beliefs you may discover in your mind. It is about giving yourself the space and time to listen to what you are believing and to reflect on how those thoughts are driving your actions. Once you know your thoughts, you can begin identifying ones that are keeping you locked in fear, shame, or dissatisfaction and begin to transform them into thoughts marked with hope, confidence, love, growth, grace, and gratitude. You will begin to transform your life from the inside out, where true change happens!
